It doesn't work with iPhone

Make sure to check the compatibility list and see if the iPhone is compatible with tapping a popqoq card. Remember: all phones can use the popqoq QR code to share your contact information! Make sure to tap your popqoq card on the top of the iPhone, near the camera. The iPhone scanner is located at the top back of the phone.

The popqoq card cannot be scanned while:

The flashlight is on. The phone screen is off. Your phone is in airplane mode. The camera is open.

It doesn't work with Android.

Why does my phone constantly scan my popqoq card?
​
If your phone is constantly scanning your own popqoq card, it is likely that you have placed it incorrectly on your phone's scanner. The solution is simple. Remove your popqoq card and reattach it according to our location recommendations for iPhone and Android. Remember that iPhones and Androids have different location recommendations.

How do I tap with my popqoq card?

Your popqoq card is specially designed to 'tap' into other phones and seamlessly transfer your popqoq profile to them. This technology is relatively new, so there is expected to be a learning curve when trying to tap.

Here are our tips for tapping:
1.- Make sure the phone is on and unlocked before tapping.
2.- Make sure airplane mode is turned off before tapping.
3.- Make sure the camera is not open when tapping.
4.- Make sure to tap your popqoq card on the 'sweet spot.'
5.- iPhones: on the back, near the top of the phone (close to the camera).
6.- Androids: on the back, near the middle.

My contact card does not download on other phones?
​
Your popqoq profile includes a 'Download to contact' button that allows those you connect with to save your contact information directly to their phones.
​
If the other person is using an iPhone, they will need to select 'Create new contact' at the bottom of the screen to fully download your contact information.
